System of continuous data exchange among institutions that have set up stationary measurement patforms on the Adriatic Sea is intended to offer environmental information to a broad public and to strengthen collaboration among the institutions that will participate in the data-exchange.

1. Development of software tools for data-exchange in near-real time with the institutions in Italy, according to the international standards in oceanography  (Unesco-IOC).
2. Installation of equipment to measure oceanographic and ecological parameters on the existing Coastal oceanographic buoy off the cape of Piran. This equipment will enable measurements of parameters near the sea-surface, where the expected fluctuations are the largest.
3. Test runs of programs and measurement equipment and launch of the data-exchange system that will also present the data in graphic form to the public on web pages.
